About This Policy
Nehmedia, Inc. ("Nehmedia", "we", "us" or "our") operates doghouseholds.com and the Dog Households application at app.doghouseholds.com (together, "Dog Households"). This policy describes how we collect, use, disclose and protect your personal information when you visit our site or use the application.
Nehmedia, Inc. has its business operations at 9600 Great Hills Trail, Suite 150W, Austin, Texas 78759.
By using Dog Households, you consent to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use Dog Households. Questions go to info@doghouseholds.com.
Information We Collect
Information you give us
Your name, business name, email, phone, address, role and messages when you fill in a form, request a demo or a free market map, or create an account.
Account information
Login details, the people on your team, your licensed locations, saved maps and settings. If you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive basic profile details such as your name and email from that provider.
Client files you upload
See "Client Files" below.
Client Screening results (coming soon)
If you run Client Screening once it launches, the matched results described in "Client Screening" below.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our site, we and our service providers may collect certain information through cookies, web beacons, pixels and similar technologies. This may include:
- IP address and approximate geographic location
- Browser type, operating system and device type
- Pages visited, time spent and navigation patterns
- Referring website or search terms
- Interaction data, such as clicks, scrolls and form engagement
Billing information
We invoice subscriptions at the start of each quarter. When online card payment launches, it will be handled by our payment processor, Stripe, and we will not store card numbers on our servers.
Client Files
You may upload a file of your own clients' addresses, with optional revenue and lifetime value, so the application can show how many of each area's dog households are your clients. Client files are reduced to neighborhood-level totals. Individual clients are never shown on any map, and a shared map shows area totals only if you choose to include them.
To produce those totals, addresses are sent to geocoding services to find each address's area. We use the US Census Bureau's Geocoding API and Google Maps to verify addresses and find their locations. Geocoded addresses are stored so the same address is not looked up twice.
You can remove a client file from your account at any time. You are responsible for having the right to upload your clients' information and for any notices your own clients are owed.
Client Screening
Client Screening is coming soon and is not available yet. When it launches, accounts will be able to choose to screen their client file. This section describes how it will work. Screening happens only when you run it. Uploading a file to see your share of each neighborhood does not screen it.
When you run a screen, we send the names and addresses in that file to a third-party data enrichment partner for matching. The partner returns what it can match: whether each person has moved, forwarding information where available, and household details (presence of children and their age range, homeowner or renter, household size, length of residence and estimated home value). The results are added to your account and are visible to your account admins unless an admin gives others access. They are never shared with other accounts.
You are responsible for having the right to use your clients' information this way and for any notices your own clients are owed.
Cookies and Analytics
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate our site, keep you signed in, analyze usage and deliver relevant advertising. They fall into four categories: essential (required), analytics (measure usage), advertising (show relevant ads) and functional (enhanced features).
We use Google Tag Manager to manage these tools and analytics tools including, but not limited to, Google Analytics. We use advertising partners including, but not limited to, Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram).
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and opt out of interest-based advertising with the industry tools listed in our Cookie Policy, which has the details.
